Cleveland,
GA, April 1998Neverland Farms Inc., a new outdoor event facility located 60 minutes
north of Alpharetta, GA is offering a unique alternative for corporate and private group
functions. "Neverland Farms provides an environment specifically designed to be
conducive to stress-relief, creative thought and meaningful communication," says Dan
Tebor, co-owner and co-founder of the company.
"Our
vision is to offer company leaders, their teams, and other private groups an extremely
high quality, value-packed experience in a beautiful outdoor environment with all the
conveniences."
"Nothing
else exactly like this is offered anywhere in north Georgia," says Suzy Tebor.
"Our strategic location in a protected valley near the popular resort cities of
Dahlonega, Helen and Cleveland makes us a natural destination for company events and
family and private group getaways with a purpose. Our greatest asset is the pristine
beauty of this unspoiled, secluded property, a rare gift of nature we intend to preserve
for the enjoyment and enrichment of our guests in coming years."
The Tebors
dreamed of living in the north Georgia Mountains from the first time that they saw them.
That was in 1969. During years of running a successful marketing firm specializing in
high-growth, entrepreneurial companies they acquired many skills associated with planning
and holding a variety of team appreciation and special events (ranging from annual
meetings to sales seminars, incentive trips, grand openings and promotional events).
Realizing that they had the knowledge to create a really special team appreciation
destination, they escaped to Neverland Farms. The Tebors are believers that the role of
team development and appreciation in the corporate culture is often undervalued or
ignored. Having successfully helped other companies focus and reward the people who
deliver their products and services daily, the duo has created the type of team
appreciation environment they could not find elsewhere.
"Neverland
Farms is truly one of the prettiest spots weve ever seen," says Dan. "Once
we settled on the concept of providing a totally private outdoor event experience,
we knew Neverland was the perfect setting. It is totally protected by the Chattahoochee
National Forest, which adjoins it, and the surrounding mountains, so you feel like
youve escaped when youre here!"
Dan and Suzy
personally host all Neverland Farms events, and see to every detail with their team.
"Our real love," says Suzy, "other than the people and our incredible
surroundings, is serving wonderful food. Its fun to see companies and families
begin to unwind out here, and then sit down to an outdoor meal that is beyond their
expectations!"
Another love
that the couple shares with Neverland visitors is music. They met at Florida State
University where they entertained as a folk singing duo. "A Neverland Farms event is
really a wonderful experience," says Dan. "But when you provide a live band, as
we do with all events over 150 people, the environment really becomes magical.
Neverlands stable of bands includes some really great old-time mountain and
folk groups, bluegrass, rock and roll, folk and a little jazz and blues thrown in from
time to time."
Moon
Mountain Studio, Inc. - the Tebors marketing consulting firm - still works with
select clients and handles the farms design needs, which range from special
details for upcoming events to Neverland logo gear and the companys marketing
efforts.
Although
corporate events are Neverlands specialty, the property is available for all kinds
of private functions, as long as they conform to the farms policies.
Visits to
Neverland can be scheduled at any time during the week, or on weekends.
